Coralee and the Townies
Coralee and the Townies are a Lexington, Kentucky based band of a genre they've self-defined as HONKY TONK SOUL. And it's a fitting description, as the sextet whoops and weeps with traditional authenticity and contemporary energy, with Coralee's husky vocals front and center and the Townies providing a righteous, raucous rootenanny soundtrack around her.
Having pushed an EP produced by Duane Lundy (Ben Sollee, Vandaveer, These United States) two years ago, Coralee and the Townies have established themselves locally as tip-top contenders guaranteed to draw a diverse crowd known to include multiple generations of devoted fans. This is most certainly attributable to combined on-stage experience of more than 150 years as the "Townies" are exactly as their name would suggest- players as experienced and on the scene as any band comes- each hand picked for just that reason by Coralee,
Since the release of their debut, self-titled EP (available for listen and download at www.bandcamp.coraleeandthetownies.com) Coralee and the Townies have been building a regional following in Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina, and Tennessee and are back in the studio with Duane Lundy, working toward their first full length release. Look forward to singles, music videos, and documentaries (oh my!) to be released in the very near future!
Americana/Country/Bluegrass from Lexington Ky
At once danceable and reflective, familiar and nostalgic, Humming House is a musical experiment gone right. Woven together from diverse backgrounds (Americana, classical composition, bluegrass, soul, and traditional Irish music), their playground of musical exploration has something for every generation. Unmistakable pop sensibilities mixed with a depth of lyrical narrative give their whimsical songs an irresistible quality that can only be described by the imagery of the name – Humming House.
Fresh from recording their second album with Grammy Award-winning producers Vance Powell (The White Stripes, Chris Thile, Buddy Guy) and Mitch Dane (Jars of Clay), Humming House is building a tour schedule to match their growing reputation. Their debut record brought a whirlwind of press including features on NPR's Live in Studio C and All Things Considered, Nashville's Lightning 100 local spotlight, reviews in American Songwriter Magazine, and a Daytrotter session. The band's video for their second single, "Cold Chicago" was sponsored by Stetson and their newest video, "Fly On" is currently in rotation on CMT Pure and Zuus Country. Humming House has had placements on FX's "Justified" and The CW's "Hart of Dixie".
Having played over 150 dates, they are currently touring nationwide with notable performances at Bristol Rhythm and Roots, the Americana Music Festival, the Cayamo Cruise, and SXSW. They have shared the festival stage with the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Dr. Dog, Justin Townes Earl, The Steep Canyon Rangers, Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlile, Lyle Lovett, Ricky Skaggs, and Bruce Hornsby.
Nick Dittmeier is a singer-songwriter from southern Indiana. He fronted the alt-country band Slithering Beast for five years. In early 2013, he branched out and started performing under his own name and established a new band. His first release was an EP called "Extra Better." It garnered local and regional attention and radio play, while earning him a nomination for "Songwriter of the Year" at the First Annual Louisville Music Awards. Relentless performances ensued, while writing a new record. The new album, "Light of Day" is slated for release in April of 2014.

Bookshelf - http://bookshelfmusic.bandcamp.com/
Formed in the winter of 2012, Bookshelf is a four-piece rock band currently residing in Louisville, KY. Their debut EP, Stranger to Be, released in February 2014, is an inviting introduction to a world of airy waltzes, distorted desert landscapes, and psychedelic sunsets.
From world music to hip-hop, their varying musical tastes have helped them to produce a unique brand of rock that seems to have its roots in several genres.
They are unofficially managed by a no-nonsense Jack Russell Terrier named Otis.
