Stanley E. Robison, Jr
Mr. Robison graduated from New Albany High School in 1973, and then attended Indiana University’s prestigious SPEA (School of Public and Environmental Affairs), where he received his Bachelor of Science and graduated Cum laude in 1977. Mr. Robison then attended the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law, where he graduated with his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1983.
Mr. Robison began his career as a public defender for Clark Circuit and Superior Courts in 1983, before becoming Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Floyd County in 1985. He began a private practice in 1985, yet he was still interested in serving the community. He served eight years as attorney on the New Albany Board of Zoning Appeals, and he also served 4 years as attorney on the New Albany Police Merit Commission. From 2009-2010, Mr. Robison served as attorney for the New Albany City Council.
